Color of the Month | Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato

We love to use a wide range of paint colors in our interior design projects, and rich, deep colors are our favorite! They create a luxurious and confident look in the home all year round. This month, we wanted to feature one of the deep paint colors that is taking the fashion and interior design industries by storm this Fall season! Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato (SW 7585) is our Color of the Month!

Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato (SW 7585) is classified as a medium-dark shade of red paint, appearing like a wonderfully balanced burgundy red color. It truly gives any space a sophisticated and luxurious look. Plus – it can be used almost anywhere in the home!

Pairs Well With…

Sherwin Williams Greek Vanilla (SW 7551) and Butterscotch (SW 6377).

We love how this warm and sophisticated paint color pairs with neutral colors and other elegant colors, too. Greek Vanilla (SW 7551) works extremely well with Sun Dried Tomato to act as the ideal off-white paint color for contrasting trim work and ceilings. However, if you prefer to have a more bold color palette in your home, then pair Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato with another sophisticated color like Butterscotch (SW 6377) to create a balanced and confident color palette.

Both of these paint color options create a sophisticated and well-rounded color palette that works throughout the home. These are both great paint colors to use alongside Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato throughout the home!

How to use Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato in your home…

Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato is the perfect color for embracing a confident and luxurious look in the home. It can be used as a wonderful all-over wall paint with neutrals for the trim work, while it could also be used as a feature wall too! We have used Sun Dried Tomato as the main feature wall color for this guest bathroom (photographs featured in this article) to create an elegant and elevated look.

This color works well in both light and dark rooms – watch the color come to life in sunny rooms, while a more intimate and dark feel can be achieved in naturally darker rooms. It’s a wonderful color to use in bedrooms, living rooms, and dining rooms to create a confident look and feel.

Alternatively, it’s really easy to incorporate Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato in your interiors through accessories, furniture, and art work. We love how this color is used with the “pairs well with” colors above!
