Color of the Month | Sherwin Williams Rain
How is it March already?! We’ve been super busy working on some big projects, presenting lots of designs, and expanding our vendor knowledge. A common request from clients has been to create a calming atmosphere. One of the biggest influences of how a space feels is the paint color used on the walls! That’s why this month, we’re featuring Sherwin Williams Rain (SW 6219) as our Color of the Month!
Sherwin Williams Rain (SW 6219) is a soft blue paint color with soft, subtle gray undertones that balances the color perfectly. It’s a color that brings a serene and calming feel to any space. Plus, it’s so versatile that it can be used in both modern and traditional interiors too!

Sherwin Williams Extra White (SW 7006) and Dovetail (SW 7018).
We love how this versatile soft blue paint color pairs with both deeper and neutral colors! Rain (SW 6219) works really well with a deeper and warmer color like Sherwin-Williams Dovetail (SW 7018), as Rain acts as the perfect contrasting color.
However, if you prefer to have a more subtle and calming color scheme in your home, then pair Sherwin Williams Rain with a light neutral color like Extra White (SW 7006) to create a balanced and tranquil color palette.

Sherwin Williams Rain is the perfect paint color for using as an allover wall color. We love how this soft blue color creates a calming and tranquil bedroom and living room. Sherwin Williams Rain is also a fantastic blue paint color to use in bathrooms! We used this color for the main vanity wall in a primary bathroom project (featured throughout this article).
You can also use Rain as an all-over wall paint in ancillary spaces like laundry rooms! Plus, if you prefer a cleaner look, this is the perfect color to use.
Alternatively, it’s really easy to incorporate Sherwin Williams Rain in your interiors through accessories, bedding, and art work! We love how this color complements every other color – it makes them come alive!
