Innovatus Design is a Downers Grove interior design firm built around one simple idea: great design should solve real problems. We work with homeowners across the Chicago western suburbs to improve how spaces function, feel, and flow, whether that means a single room or a whole-home renovation.

Meet Heather Mastrangeli
Heather Mastrangeli has been building toward this her whole career. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from a prestigious CIDA-accredited program in just three years, she cut her teeth designing commercial spaces: offices, hospitals, schools, and government buildings. That foundation gave her a level of technical rigour most residential designers simply do not have.
Once eligible, she sat for and passed the NCIDQ Exam, earning her certification. Since then, she has pursued lighting design, theatrical design, and retail projects. A breadth of experience that now informs every residential project she takes on.
But what drives Heather is the people. Every project is a chance to create a space that genuinely works for the family living in it. That is what has kept clients coming back, and sending their friends, for over 20 years.
