Color of the Month | Sherwin Williams Cheerful
Color is a powerful way of influencing both the look and feel of any interior, and here at Innovatus Design, we love to use a wide variety of colors and tones in our projects. Bold and bright colors are some of our favorites! They create a confident look in the home all year round. This month, we wanted to feature one of our favorite bright paint colors that is perfect for this Fall season! Sherwin Williams Cheerful (SW 6903) is our Color of the Month!
Sherwin Williams Cheerful (SW 6903) is classified as a vibrant shade of yellow paint, appearing like a happy and wonderfully balanced rich yellow color. It truly gives any space a warm and optimistic look. Plus – it can be used in a variety of ways in the home!
Pairs Well With…
Sherwin Williams Nautilus (SW 6780) and Tricorn Black (SW 6258).
We love how this warm and bold paint color pairs with neutral colors and other bright colors, too. Tricorn Black (SW 6258) works extremely well with Cheerful to act as a contrasting neutral paint color. However, if you prefer to have a more bold color palette in your home, then pair Sherwin Williams Cheerful with another bold color like Nautilus (SW 6780) to create a balanced and confident color palette.
Both of these paint color options create a confident and well-rounded color palette that works throughout the home. These are both great paint colors to use alongside Sherwin Williams Cheerful throughout the home!
How to use Sherwin Williams Cheerful in your home…
Sherwin Williams Cheerful is the perfect color for embracing a sense of happiness and a bold confidence look in the home. It can be used as a wonderful all-over wall paint with neutrals for the trim work, while it could also be used as a feature wall too! We have used yellow furniture and accessories in this basement family room remodel (photographs featured in this article) to create a well rounded and elevated look.
This color works well in both light and dark rooms – watch the color come to life in sunny rooms, while a more intimate feel can be achieved in naturally darker rooms. It’s a wonderful color to use in bedrooms, living rooms, and dining rooms to create a confident look and feel.
Alternatively, it’s really easy to incorporate Sherwin Williams Cheerful in your interiors through accessories, furniture, and art work. We love how this color is used with the “pairs well with” colors above!
